Welcome to the Unitarian Universalist Church of Cheyenne

Our church fosters connection and community, because we believe that we’re stronger together. Our church rejoices in the diversity of human experience and expression, because we believe that there are many paths to wholeness. Our church embraces questions and curiosity, because we believe that divine truth is unfolding. Our church works on loving one another as we are, because we believe that each person is worthy, holy, and beloved right now.

Meet The Team

Rev. Hannah Villnave

Rev. Hannah Villnave

The Rev. Hannah Roberts Villnave has served as the minister at UUCC since August of 2017. Prior to that, she lived in Baltimore where she fell in love with crab cakes, Orioles baseball, and her wife, Catherine. They live in Cheyenne with their daughter, Adah, and their cat, Schweinsteiger, and enjoy hiking, sampling local beer, and dodging tumbleweeds on the highway.

Music Director

Tamra Mabe

Tamra Mabe

Tamra joined our staff in June of 2019. She moved to Cheyenne last year and fell in love with the town. After living in many places, Cheyenne reminded her most of her home state, Pennsylvania. She is a mom, first and foremost, but when she can find the time, she likes to crochet, read, watch movies, and go out for the occasional karaoke adventure.

Priscilla Golden, Accompanist

Priscilla Golden

Pris has been the UUCC accompanist since 1983. She started piano lessons when she was four and has played in numerous recitals over the years. She enjoys sharing music through centering time and as gentle background to the pastoral prayer.

Sharon Kelley

Sharon Kelley

Sharon has been the church custodian since 1999 and does a phenomenal job keep the building spotless
