Suzanne Says Yes!

At the Special Congregational Meeting held on Sunday, April 20, the members of the Unitarian Universalist Church of Cheyenne overwhelmingly voted to call the Rev. Suzanne Meyer to be our Settled Minister. Soon after the meeting, the Search Committee called Suzanne. Suzanne accepted the call and will be our new settled minister. She will move to Cheyenne soon, but will not start at the church until August.

The Search Committee did a wonderful job and we thank you.

Yippee!

UUCC Ministerial Search Committee

January Reflections

The UUCC ministerial search committee is continuing on the path to finding a settled minister. We got the congregational packet completed and printed in December. The packet, as we detailed last month, is essentially a detailed brochure about our congregation, its people, and its history, that fills a three-ring binder. We will send copies of the packet to prospective ministers, who will in turn send us their own packets, giving detailed information about themselves. We will be busy in the coming weeks as we carefully read the ministers' packets and sample sermons. This is an essential step in choosing a settled minister that will be a great fit for our congregation.

We will keep this month's reflections brief, as the packet has been the primary focus of our activities in December. We will continue to keep you posted as the search process continues. We hope that everyone was blessed with happy celebrations and safe travels for holidays you celebrated in December. Best wishes for the coming year.

As a welcoming congregation we welcome everyone,
regardless of race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, or gender expression.
