Attention HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS!
Join us for food, fun, and games on Wednesday, November 7 at 7 PM.
This event is free!
Pizza and Game Night at UUCC for all high school students and their families. Pizza, salad and beverages will be served. Bring a dessert item to share, if you are able. No nuts please (because of allergies).
If you can, please bring food drive items that will be donated to Cheyenne Junior and Senior High Schools to help families over the Thanksgiving break.
Suggestions for food drive items include: mac&cheese, ramen noodles, applesauce, crackers, chips, cans of soup, spaghetti o’s, and any other teenager favorite food item.
Middle School Youth Group
Middle School Youth Group is being led by Lauren Danley and Cynthia Williford. The first meeting for the 2018-19 year was this past Sunday. The group started by developing a covenant and planning their activities for the next few meetings. Spread the word!!!! Currently the middle school youth are meeting the 1st and 3rd Sunday of each month 12:15- 2:15.
Both our High School Youth Group and our Middle School Youth Group have new Facebook pages. If you’re a Facebooker…. please “like” our pages to follow what’s happening at UUCC.

| Committee on Shared Ministry is excited to bring back Share the Plate to the UUCC congregation. We started Sept 16 with a survey that 28 people have returned. Our goal as a group is to get input from as many of you as we can. Currently, our Members and Friends list is nearly 160 long so we have some work to do. Extra Surveys are in the lobby, so if you did not turn one in, please do and we will continue to add your information to the collective list. Expect to hear from one of the 5 members of COSM before our deadline of November 15 if we have not received survey results from you. The goal is to choose the 12 organizations that we have made a commitment to with our volunteer time or donations that reflect the UUCC principles and align with our mission as a congregation for a MONTH LONG Share the Plate experience with leaders from the organization and people directly impacted by the group sharing and making connections with the UUCC congregation. If you have any questions, feel free to talk with any members of the COSM: Carol Bowles, Jack Runnels, Berth Bikulcs, Kesslee Stewart and Birgitt Paul. |

It’s a Baby Shower!
Celebrate their coming baby with Rev. Hannah and Catherine! A baby shower will be held November 18 after the service, concurrently with the Church’s Thanksgiving Dinner. If you are wondering what Rev. Hannah and Catherine would like to have, please check their registry. |

UUCC High School Youth Group is asking for your help in collecting food items for students in junior and senior high school in Cheyenne to make sure everyone has food over the Thanksgiving break.
Items requested include: mac&cheese, ramen noodles, applesauce, chips, spaghetti o’s, soup, crackers, and any other items loved by teens.
Please bring the items to UUCC (3005 Thomes Avenue, Cheyenne, Wyoming) to help us, help kids in our schools, and in our community. |

Our next Family Promise hosting week is November 4–11, 3 weeks away!
Right now we have a single family of seven! There will be a mom, 3 teenagers and a pre-teen, and two younger school-aged children. I expect they will have hearty appetites so you may want to go in with another person on preparing dinners. I will keep you updated. One of the children has an egg allergy. The white board in the social hall is ready for sign-up, or you can email Carol Bowles and give your preferred time slot. |

Spaghetti Dinner Update!!!!
Our Faith Development Committee hosted a Spaghetti Dinner Fundraiser last Sunday and it was a blast! We raised just over $300. Thank you to everyone who attended, volunteered and helped in anyway. We came together…. and it was awesome!

Do you need to submit an announcement for the weekly e-mail, UUCC This Week and Beyond… ?
- Submission deadline is Tuesday before 10 AM.
- Please submit announcements to administrator@uucheyenne.org.
- Announcements on CD or hand-written/typed announcements should be delivered or mailed to the office and received by the due date.
- E-mail announcements are usually then included in the next Sunday order of service.
- Please remember that not all members/friends have or use email.
- If you are not receiving the weekly e-mail announcements, contact the office.

 CHURCH NOTICE:
We have posted signs up around the church a number of times but again we must stress the importance of NOT bringing any peanuts or foods with peanuts in them into the building at all. We have a member of our congregation that has a deathly allergy to peanuts and anything with peanuts in them. When this member discovers there are peanuts in the building, they have to leave immediately. This means that they miss out on our various activities or meetings that they need to attend. The allergy is critical and we DO NOT want to alienate this member or any others who have this allergy. PLEASE, PLEASE SPREAD THE WORD! that we cannot allow peanuts into the building. (If you are bringing in a packaged item, please try to check that it wasn’t manufactured in a facility that processes anything with peanuts.)
