Join us for worship this Sunday morning as we wonder about the spiritual dimensions of memory loss. Alzheimer’s, dementia, and other forms of memory loss impact many of our lives and families, and we will journey together in exploring these special burdens through story and song. All are welcome.

Spring OWL Registration

OUR WHOLE LIVES: LIFESPAN SEXUALITY EDUCATION

Honest, accurate information about sexuality changes lives. It dismantles stereotypes and assumptions, builds self-acceptance and self-esteem, fosters healthy relationships, improves decision making, and has the potential to save lives. For these reasons and more, we are proud to offer Our Whole Lives (OWL), a comprehensive, lifespan sexuality education curricula for use in both secular settings and faith communities.

Our Whole Lives helps participants make informed and responsible decisions about their sexual health and behavior. With a holistic approach, Our Whole Lives provides accurate, developmentally appropriate information about a range of topics, including relationships, gender identity, sexual orientation, sexual health, and cultural influences on sexuality.

UUCC plans to offer 3 levels of OWL in the SPRING 2019. The levels include grades 4-6, grades 7-9 and grades 10-12. We need to know who’s interested and get an accurate headcount to continue our planning efforts. Register here!!!

Volunteer for Coffee Hour!

Everyone is invited to help make coffee hour fun and delicious! On your Sunday (assigned by last name), please do one or more of the following:

come early to help set up the social hall
bring a tray of prepared finger foods (and remember to take your tray and any leftover food home with you)
linger to help with cleanup!

First Sunday – A – F

The vacuum has gone missing! We would appreciate the return of the vacuum to keep our facility spotless and sanitary. Please return it to the sanctuary, in the future we ask it does not leave the church grounds. Thank you!

Do you need to submit an announcement for the weekly e-mail, UUCC This Week and Beyond… ?

Submission deadline is Tuesday before 10 AM.
Please submit announcements to administrator@uucheyenne.org.
Announcements on CD or hand-written/typed announcements should be delivered or mailed to the office and received by the due date.
E-mail announcements are usually then included in the next Sunday order of service.
Please remember that not all members/friends have or use email.
If you are not receiving the weekly e-mail announcements, contact the office.

Peanut-Free Zone!

Please remember the church is a peanut free zone for safety of our members. We have members with severe peanut allergies and we want to have all our activities safe for them and any others with this allergy to be welcome.

Please remind others, and if you are bringing in a packaged item, check to ensure it was made in a peanut free environment. Let’s keep church a safe place for everyone!
