Both classes will be required before joining UUCC, and there will be an opportunity to join the church on the 4th Sunday of every month! If you have any questions, please contact Rev. Hannah at

Sanctuary and Immigration News

We have been hosting Juan as our Sanctuary guest for about two months. He is a kind and generous man who is so grateful for our help. You can contribute to this effort by giving grocery gift cards to Rev Hannah, or you can sign up for afternoon visits or evening dinners for Juan at  If you have questions call Sandi Gaulke at 630-5856.

The Immigration Justice Coalition meets the 4th Tuesday of each month at UUCC at 12:30. The next one will be November 28. We deal with broad local and regional issues of immigration justice. You are welcome to attend. We also have an account called Workers Emergency Fund which would happily accept contributions!

Interested in Marketing or Communications?

Think UUCC could do a better job of spreading the good word?

Join the new Communications Team!

We are looking for people with experience in marketing or communications, or just an interest in seeing the church have a marketing plan. The team will be charged at looking at the options–print, radio, facebook, web–and deciding what will best serve our very limited dollars for advertising. The group can also look at coordinating our messages, how we communicate in house, reaching out to new audiences. If you are interested in participating, call or email Camellia El-Antably. 307-631-6039 or

Can you unlock the church? Got Keys??

Do you have a key to the church? Or other doors within the church? Please check in with Shelley!

If your key(s) have numbers on them, click here and provide the key number (if etched on it), what it opens and your name. You can also stop by the clipboard corner computer next time you are at the church and click on the form and simply enter your key # there.

If your keys are not etched, stop by to chat with Shelley so she can etch them. It’s helpful to let her know you are coming so she can be ready for you.

We are also happy to accept returns of keys, if you no longer find yourself needing it. You can put it in the box on the administrator’s door in an envelope with your name on it and what it opens.

We are trying to clear up our records and ensure we know who has access to the building. Thank you for helping us secure our beautiful building.

peanut-allergyCHURCH NOTICE:

We have posted signs up around the church a number of times but again we must stress the importance of NOT bringing any peanuts or foods with peanuts in them into the building at all. We have a member of our congregation that has a deathly allergy to peanuts and anything with peanuts in them. When this member discovers there are peanuts in the building, they have to leave immediately. This means that they miss out on our various activities or meetings that they need to be at.  The allergy is critical and we DO NOT want to alienate this member or any others who have this allergy. PLEASE, PLEASE SPREAD THE WORD! that we cannot allow peanuts into the building. (If you are bringing in a packaged item, please try to check that it wasn’t manufactured in a facility that processes anything with peanuts.)
