Join us from 5:30 – 6:00 pm for carol singing, and then stay for our simple and traditional carols and readings candlelight service at 6:00 pm. Bring your family and let us celebrate this beloved night together. We also invite you to bring your favorite cookies to share at a short social time immediately following! Bring a container and take home some baked holiday love.
Our church home is a resource not only for a lively and liberal spiritual life, but also for a great amount of service to the community. Would you consider making a special year-end gift to UUCC? A gift of $10, $25 or $100 would make a HUGE difference – AND it’s tax-deductible! Checks can be mailed to 3005 Thomes Avenue, Cheyenne 82001 or click HERE to donate now!
The Church currently has a significant inventory in scrip which is redeemable at several local grocers. The idea is simple: The Church buys the scrip at a slight discount and when you buy it, the church gets that small profit (free money!) and our liquid cash flow improves. You then use the scrip at the participating grocer just as you would cash. Why wouldn’t we do this? As we enter the Holidays, food purchases tend to increase. Use scrip and you help the Church with each dollar you spend!

Your games, puzzles and other activities that are “so last year” may be just what our Faith Development classrooms need!
Donations will be accepted in designated buckets in the Rainbow room.
Please only gently used, fully functional donations. We’re looking for activities (puzzles, games, puppets etc.) not toys or stuffed animals. Thank you for helping our classrooms become interactive and fun learning stations!
Please join us for this Sunday’s service !

REGISTRATION FOR THE Mountain Desert District MLK Conference is now open!
“This year, the MLK Summit will focus on Black Lives Matter. The Denver poet, Suzi Q, has written an amazing song with the help of NO Enemies (Flobots) promoting racial activism. The words go, “I am a sleeping giant, there lives a riot in my bones.” Suzi’s words are a call to action in the work against oppression. And, as a faith community, we are called to work for an end to the injustices faced by people of color in our communities, so that every person is treated equally and has a fair chance at life.”
Do not miss out on this wonderful opportunity! Register soon so we can coordinate rides. Contact Ms. Marcie if your are an adult interested in chaperoning this event.
Thanks to all our very generous members and friends, over 70 beautifully decorated and absolutely stuffed Christmas stockings and hats were delivered to East High School on Dec 16. From there they were donated to homeless children and youth in our community. This could not have happened without those who helped decorate the stockings and those who gave so many personal care items, snack foods and Christmas candy, socks, hats, gloves, underwear, and the cutest toys! Plus, we collected $580 in small gift cards that were given to the teenagers. In addition, we have distributed wonderful warm winter clothing to Comea Shelter, Wyoming Coalition for the Homeless, Family Promise, and Safehouse. Boxes of food donations have been given to families in need. There are not enough words of gratitude for the generous support of this project. You should all feel proud!
Has someone borrowed the new steam machine and the 8 foot extension cord that was locked in the craft closet? 🙁 . We are requesting it’s swift return.
Terry Kreuzer requests the return of her middle length green extension cord that lit the two tomato trees strung with lights for WinterMart that was left in the social hall/gym to offer some decoration that next Sunday, Dec 13th.
She went in on Monday, Dec 14th to take down trees but no cord.
She has looked in all her tote boxes as well all over the church & checked with Sharon about it.
If you know of its whereabouts, please contact Terry @ 214-3932
