Bring a Pot Luck Item to Sustain Us

Cheyenne Day of Giving is a non-profit led by faith communities, organizations and businesses whose purpose is to help the sick and economically disadvantaged. The highlight is a one-day event in May to collect goods and send them directly to people helped by the agencies and charities supported by Day of Giving. Many of them are the same ones that UUCC supports, such as Interfaith Family Support Services, COMEA House, Needs Inc, Safehouse, and Wyoming Coalition for the Homeless. For more information http://www.cheyennenetwork.com/dayofgiving/   https://www.facebook.com/CheyenneDayOfGiving

Our church gives one of our monthly community offerings to Day of Giving. This years event is on May 10, 2013. There will be a collection bin in the lobby. Please do what you can to contribute to this huge community effort and demonstrate how the Cheyenne Community can come together to alleviate as much suffering as possible and make a real difference in the lives of those who struggle!

Donate food items such as pasta, peanut butter, cereal, boxed meals, and canned goods.

Donate personal care items such as regular and trial-size shampoo, conditioner, and lotion; razors, toothbrushes and toothpaste, bar soap, deodorant, and diapers.
