Immigration Justice Coalition needs help

A young woman and her family in our community need help. We have known her for some time.

She is a 20 something young woman who was brought here by undocumented parents as a toddler. She could not get DACA status because she could not adequately document all of the many addresses her parents had or the schools she attended.

She, her parents and a sister are undocumented. But, they have two young brothers (maybe 8 and 10) who are citizens.

She is under threat of deportation and doesn’t feel she can fill out the application form some landlords require. She needs a two bedroom apartment and can pay $700-$800.

This is a good family that many of us know. If you know of any place available, please contact Sandi Gaulke (stgaulke@openvistas.net) or Rodger McDaniel (rmc81448@gmail.com)
Thank you!

UUCC’s High School Youth Group are collecting aluminum cans for various organizations. Each month we will announce a new organization we plan to donate to. Please bring your clean, aluminum cans in and place them in the recycling container on Sundays. We’ll take it from there. THANK YOU!!!

Here at UUCC we will be collecting non-pershiable food, personal care items, new socks and underwear for all ages and craft items. Look for the collection bin in the lobby and watch for more details on how you can help!

Day of Giving is May 10 8am-5pm at the Kiwanis Community House
