I love fresh starts, and so I am a big fan of a new year. Not so much for the “resolutions” process, but just as a reminder of how much lies within our grasp, how true it is that we can begin again at any moment.
In the coming church year, I’ll be working hard on my learning curve. I plan to learn banjo. I will finish the book I’m writing before my birthday. I hope to become skilled at preparing and leading online classes, so we can create more pathways for folks to learn UU history and spiritual development at their own pace, with some in-person sessions to build community.
What are your plans? What will be new or refreshed for you? Whatever it is, I hope being a part of our shared life at UUCC will be central. After all, the place just isn’t the same without you.
See you in church –
