We had a wonderful time at COMEA in November! We served over 90 men, women and children a meal of ham, scalloped potatoes, broccoli, rolls and fruit. We had just enough of everything and a bit of ham and rolls left over that they planned to use for lunch the next day. Thank you to all of those who participated this month! I sat and ate dinner with some of the nicest people this month. It is really great to listen to some of the stories they have to tell.

The COMEA shelter is expanding its program, and along with opening the doors for dinner to everyone now, the numbers of people we serve each month is rising. If you are concerned about the financial commitments, the church has set aside some money in the budget for our COMEA shelter efforts. Simply sign up, keep your receipts and submit them to the church administrator for reimbursement.

Thank you to everyone who helped make the November 17th COMEA Shelter dinner a success!

The menu for December 15th includes:

Prime Rib, Baked Potatoes, Rolls, Salad and Fruit

As is the tradition, Mike and Tim will be supplying the Prime Rib; we will just need  people to cook it.
